Huang Rayling grew up in Taiwan. She earned her Bachelor of English Literature from Christ's College and her Master of Elementary Education from Texas State University.
She currently works for public schools in Texas as a Chinese language teacher. She has worked with students of all levels and learning abilities while helping them to learn Chinese as a second language.
Throughout her extensive education and academic teaching experience, she has developed a deep understanding and passion for cultural differences, individual learning, and social development. She is passionate about teaching non-heritage students because of her family background.
